AMY GORDON Colchester & Chelmsford

Spider Naevi, like facial red veins are another form of telangiectasia or vasular blemish both of which can successfully be treated by diathermy.

Most causes of Spider Naevi are a direct result of an externally caused trauma to the skin, such as a knock with a with a sharp object, exercise or even picking a spot.

Typically they will require 1-2 treatments , the first should significantly reduce but the further treatment may be required to remove it altogether.

A Spider Naevi gets it’s name from presenting in a spider like form. It has a main body which tends to be the darkest area and then legs that are the broken capillaries leading to it. It is important following treatment that the aftercare is followed to ensure it does not come back.

My clinics are held weekly at EM Skin Clinic in Colchester, Essex and you can book online for your intial consultation by selecting Advanced Blemish Removal here.
