Filiform Wart Removal Colchester & Chelmsford

How does Wart Removal work? Warts come in many variations and on different parts of the body but wherever the wart may be, the process of the treatment is the same. I prefer to use diathermy for Wart Removal, this works by drying the wart out and targeting the virus in an attempt to kill it.

Wart Removal Colchester & Chelmsford

This gentleman presents a filiform wart just below his bottom lip which was causing him distress and was equally uncomfortable as he kept catching it when shaving and also when sleeping. We treated this wart twice, the first time we had a great result but there was still a small part of the wart left and so we wanted to ensure it was all gone and treated again, this can often be the case with warts and I am also very clear with clients that warts can come back as I cannot gurantee the virus has been killed.

This was around a year ago I treated this paticular gentleman and I haven’t seen him since so I think it’s safe to say the treatment has been effective and he is happily walking around wart free!

In fact the below picture was his follow up 6 weeks after the second treatment and you can see what a fantastic result we have got. However you can also see here that he had begun to develop one in the corner of his mouth. This is very normal as once one wart appears then you are susceptible to get others.  We treated this as we did the other and one treatment was enough for that one to also be banished.

If you are suffering with warts wherever they may be on your body, the hands, the face, the neck, the chest etc then diathermy is the solution.
