Wart Removal Before & After
There is nothing more rewarding than helping a client regain their confidence by removing a blemish they’ve had for years but didn’t know how to address.
The client in the image below visited me approximately 12 weeks ago, presenting with what she believed to be a skin tag, though it also appeared wart-like. This was one of those ambiguous blemishes that could not be easily categorised, but after a thorough examination, I determined it to be a wart-like growth, likely exacerbated by friction, which gave it a skin tag-like appearance.
To ensure the safest approach, I recommended that the client consult her doctor to confirm that the blemish was benign before proceeding with treatment.
Once she received the all-clear from her doctor, we proceeded with the treatment. Using diathermy at a medium to high current, I carefully tapped at the blemish to soften the tissues. This allowed me to gently scrape away the majority of the growth and cauterize the area.
The image below shows the immediate results post-treatment. The redness surrounding the area is a normal reaction to diathermy, as blood rushes to the treated area.
As you can see, a small portion of the blemish remains on the surface, now dried out. I reviewed the area two days ago, and the client was thrilled with the results. Although there is a slight mark where the blemish once was, the transformation is remarkable and often life-changing. This client can now confidently wear the tops she had been avoiding without feeling self-conscious or the need to cover up.
