My qualifications and professional development reflect a rigorous and ongoing commitment to clinical standards:
• VTCT Level 5 Advanced Blemish Removal — achieved through Sterex, the UK’s leading provider of electrolysis and advanced blemish removal training.
• Sterex Dermoscopy and Electrosurgery Course — completed under Dr Mohammad Ayub Khan, focusing on the clinical application of dermoscopy and electrosurgical techniques in practice.
• PCDS Dermoscopy for Absolute Beginners — held at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London, organised by Dr Tim Cunliffe (Executive Chair, Primary Care Dermatology Society), accumulating 5 hours of dermatology education.
• MASCED Accreditation (Melanoma and Skin Cancer Early Detection) — awarded by SKiN, the Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity, and accredited by Habia CPD, BABTAC, and FHT.
This accreditation is maintained on an ongoing basis and reflects my commitment to melanoma awareness and early-detection best practices.
• Recognition of Skin Lesions (Re-SkiL) — a CPD-accredited programme (6 hours, accredited by the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians UK, code: 154842) led by Dr Ausama Atwan, Consultant Dermatologist at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, covering dermatoscopy and the identification of benign versus suspicious lesions.
In addition, I work in ongoing collaboration with Dr Toby Nelson (Consultant Dermatologist, Map My Mole), who provides a formal review pathway for any lesion of concern, always ensuring appropriate escalation and patient safety.
