Blemish Removal Before & After
My client, James, came to me with a blemish on the left side of his nose. After consulting his doctor and being referred to dermatology, the blemish was confirmed to be benign, diagnosed as a seborrheic keratosis.
From the image below, I initially found the appearance of the blemish concerning. However, upon further discussion, James explained that it was frequently irritated by his glasses, which caused occasional bleeding and soreness. Despite this, he clarified that this was not its usual state, as the blemish typically appeared less inflamed when left undisturbed.
Once I had carried out a thorough consultation and treatment had been discussed I went ahead and treated this Seborrheic Keratosis. Follow treatment Clinisept was applied to ensure the area was clean and prepped to apply Calamine powder which keeps the area nice and dry and encourages healing.
The image below was taken immediately after the treatment. During every procedure, I take exceptional care to avoid overworking the skin. This meticulous approach ensures that the skin’s natural integrity and structure are preserved, minimising any potential trauma. By maintaining this careful balance, I help to ensure that the skin requires only minimal time and effort to heal, promoting a smoother and more comfortable recovery process for the client.
