Why Community is Everything in This Industry

Blemish Removal Practitioners

One of the things I love most about what I do is that it doesn’t stop at the treatment room door. Yes, I am completely passionate about the work I do with my clients, helping them feel confident in their skin is something I will never take for granted, but equally close to my heart is supporting the incredible practitioners who make up this industry.

Because here’s the thing: when we share, we all grow.

BlemishPro — Built From a Shared Vision

A couple of years ago, my colleague Kolaine Farr and I noticed something. There were so many talented, qualified practitioners out there working hard, but often in isolation. This industry can feel lonely at times, and when you’re navigating complex cases, trying a new technique, or simply needing a confidence boost, having the right people around you makes all the difference.

That’s why we created BlemishPro.

BlemishPro is an online support platform www.blemishpro.co.uk built exclusively for qualified practitioners, a space where we can share knowledge freely, ask questions without judgment, discuss techniques, celebrate treatment outcomes, and genuinely build each other up. It’s a community rooted in trust and professionalism, and watching it grow has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve been part of.

Knowledge-sharing isn’t a threat to your business; it’s what elevates the whole industry. The more we support each other, the better the outcomes for our clients, and that’s always the goal.

Bringing It to Life — Our Recent Event

We recently took BlemishPro offline for a day (in the best possible way!) when we brought members together at Kolaine’s clinic for a hands-on event. It was such a special day, part practical workshop, part business development session, and completely energising from start to finish.

We tackled the technical and practical side of our work, but also spent real time making sure our messaging to clients is clear, consistent, and professional. That piece matters so much. How we communicate what we do, explain treatments, and manage expectations all contribute to the trust clients place in us. Getting that right, together, is something I’m really proud of.

Working Alongside The Delforge Group

Alongside BlemishPro, I also have the privilege of working with the wonderful Valerie Delforge at The Delforge Group, www.thedelforgegroup.co.uk, where I support clinic and business owners with the behind-the-scenes operations of running a successful practice and support their journeys in business, growth, and strategy. In addition, personal growth is a huge area for me and one I love to work on with clients.

This side of my work sits just as close to my heart. So many talented practitioners are brilliant at their craft but find the business side overwhelming, and that’s completely understandable. Helping people get clarity, structure, and confidence in how they run their businesses is something I genuinely love doing. Watching someone go from feeling swamped to feeling in control? That never gets old.

Why I Do It

I love what I do. All of it. The clients, the practitioners, the community building, and the mentoring. I believe wholeheartedly that this industry is stronger when we back each other, share openly, and invest in each other’s growth.

If you’re a practitioner who’d like to find out more about BlemishPro, or a clinic owner curious about the support available through The Delforge Group, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s grow this community together.
